117 years ago today, on January 17th, 1908 (the 14th day of the twelfth lunar month), Mr. Shen Yiqian, a patriotic painter during the Anti-Japanese War, was born.

On January 17, 1908, the birth of the famous patriotic painter Mr. Shen Yongjiang during the resistance war. Mr. Shen Yongjiang was born in Shanghai, after the events of the 9th of 18th century, he painted the first anti-Japanese propaganda painting in Shanghai.

After the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War, he was active in various major battlefields and guerrilla battlefields behind enemy lines. He has painted Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Deng Yingchao, Zhu De, He Long, etc., and received their autographs and recognition. Mao Dun called these portraits "historical materials of the Anti-Japanese War." On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival in 1944, Mr. Shen Yiqian was killed in Chongqing at the age of 36.
