143 years ago today, on January 16th, 1882 (the 27th day of the winter lunar month), Shenbao used domestic telecommunications for the first time.

In 1881, China's first telegram line from Tianjin to Shanghai was completed three weeks after the establishment, and on January 16, 1882, the "Declaration" published a special telegram sent by the journalist in Beijing from Tianjin, which contained the news of the Qing government's appointment of a dead official, which was the beginning of the domestic use of "the special telegram". Later, everyone who received the "Kingzhi Telecommunications", the "Declaration" was published, were crowned with the words "telephone translation" or "the newspaper received the telegram itself". This was the first "electronic head" of the Chinese newspaper, which opened a new chapter in the Chinese newspaper industry.
