On January 17, 1982, 50 Japanese and Brazilian tourists were visiting the bridge, the bridge suddenly broke, and tourists fell into the river, all dead.

The Iguazu Waterfall is 5 kilometers wide and has a drop of 70 meters. It is located at the confluence of the Iguazu River at the junction of Brazil, Argentina and Paraguay, where it flows into the Parana River. It is the widest and sixth largest waterfall in the world. There are national parks on both sides of the waterfall for visitors to watch. On the Brazilian side, a promenade-style waterfall bridge is built on the bank of Parana River. The bridge is 50 meters away from the river. Visitors can look up at the panoramic view of the waterfall on the bridge.
