On October 5, local time, several European countries that their citizens had been deported or were about to leave Israel after being seized by Israel on board the Global Sustainable Fleet vessel.

On the night of October 1 and 2, Israel detained 41 ships and more than 470 participants of the Global Resilience Flotilla, which were originally scheduled to sail to the Gaza Strip to deliver humanitarian aid. On October 3, the fleet announced that the last (42nd) vessel had also been seized. Polish Foreign Minister: Polish citizens will return home in the next few days

On October 5 local time, Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sikorski issued a document stating that the country's consular staff had met with Polish citizens detained by Israel. Although these citizens refuse to leave voluntarily, they are expected to return to their homeland in the next few days. The three Polish citizens currently detained have refused to sign a declaration of voluntary acceptance of deportation and have to wait for trial by an Israeli court. The Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that they are safe and healthy and have access to legal and medical advice.

French Foreign Ministry: 28 French nationals will be deported to Greece

On October 5, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the 28 French nationals aboard the fleet were to be deported by Israel to Greece on October 6. Previously, French diplomatic officials had conducted two consular visits to citizens detained in the Ketzort prison, confirming that all were in good condition.
