However, as floods in the upper reaches of the Chao Phraya River continue to flood into the low-lying central region, eight prefectures in the central region, namely Utai Thani Prefecture, Chaina Prefecture, Sinburi Prefecture, Hongtong Prefecture, Supanburi Prefecture, Ayutthu Prefecture, Paton Thani Prefecture and Fo Thani Prefecture, were severely affected, with a total of 43,500 families affected. Currently, the flood levels of the Red Guard, the Great City Guard, the Bayonne and the Buddhist Guard are still rising, and the level of the Mekong River that runs through central Thailand is also rising. In addition, Chaiyapun in northeastern Thailand and Beiliu in eastern Thailand also suffered from floods. According to the Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Bureau of Thailand, about 102,000 families in 16 affected provinces were affected, with 12 deaths. Bangkok Mayor Chacha reported on the 5th that the water discharged from the Chao Phraya River Dam reached 2500 cubic meters per second that day.
