It is reported that in Darjeeling, the worst-hit area of West Bengal, roads were washed away, bridges collapsed, and residents' lives and traffic were seriously affected. The Indian meteorological department has issued a red warning of rainstorm disaster to the local area. The Indian National Disaster Response Force has rushed to the scene to carry out rescue work, and the injured have been sent to nearby hospitals.
