According to the Middle East newspaper,A Hamas negotiating delegation led by senior Hamas official Khalil Haya will arrive in Cairo, the capital of Egypt, on October 5, preparing for indirect negotiations with Israel on October 6.

According to the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Israel and Hamas will discuss on-site conditions and detailed arrangements for the exchange of personnel around the "20-point plan" proposed by U.S. President Trump.

Qatari Arabic TV posted a video on social media on the night of the 4th, which contains images of the speech of senior Hamas official Khalil Khai. The Arabic TV said this was the first public appearance of Qatari after the Israeli assassination attacks in Doha on September 9.

Israeli media previously quoted a senior Israeli official as saying that if the negotiations go smoothly, the Israeli detainees may be released "within a few days." On September 9, an Israeli airstrike on Doha, Qatar's capital, allegedly targeted Hamas leaders, including Khalil Ha'a. Attacks killed six people, including Khalil Ha'a's son and office director, as well as a Qatar security officer.
