According to the latest estimate by the Israeli Defence Forces, Palestinians in Gaza City have almost all been evacuated.Approximately 900,000 have been evacuated to the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

It is reported that before the Israeli army launched a large-scale military operation against the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), there were about 1 million residents in Gaza City.

The Israeli army has previously ordered the evacuation of civilians to its humanitarian zone in the south of Gaza.The number of evacuations has increased as the Israeli army advances towards Gaza City.
