This international commentary is an analysis of the near-ending end of the war in Gaza.
Trump wrote on October 4 that Israel had agreed to partially evacuate Gaza City, which provided a necessary condition for Hamas and Israel’s upcoming hostage negotiations.
According to Israel, this is the first time that Hamas has not required the Israeli army to completely withdraw from Gaza to release all hostages. Therefore, it is expected that all hostages kidnapped by Hamas will return home during the Israeli festival of Tabernacles from October 6 to 13.
Israel has set three targets for the war in Gaza:
The first hostage returns;
Disarmament of Hamas;
Third Gaza is no longer a security threat to Israel.
These three points are guaranteed in Trump's peace plan. Therefore, it can be said that Israel finally achieved the goal of the war through two years of war and Trump's peace plan.
Of course, Hamas faces a severe situation, that is, it will either transform into a political party and lay down its arms to participate in peace negotiations with Israel, or it will completely disappear from the stage of history after surrendering its arms.
Uncle Mu believes that Hamas has been forced to have no choice but and the war in Gaza is facing an end, which shows that Israel's three major strategies have worked.
The three main strategies are:
Pressure by military means; clearance of Hamas leaders; and cooperation with the United States.
From this point of view of military pressure, Netanyahu urged a massive military assault on Hamas’s final base in Gaza City, which puts great pressure on Hamas.
With less and less territory under their control, the real question is where to go in the future? if they continue to fight, they are likely to be completely destroyed.
In terms of targeted killing, Israel recently conducted a cross-border attack on Qatar. Although it did not completely eliminate Hamas leaders, it must have truly scared them, so that they could agree to Israel's request for the release of all hostages only two weeks later.
