In 2023, Manek came to China for the first time to participate in the "Belt and Road" National Climate Change and Sustainable Development Officials Workshop organized by the Ministry of Commerce and the National Forestry and Grassroots Administration Academy. Since then, he has returned to China several times to visit the first five national parks established in China. He has written articles, filmed documentaries, and showed the world the beautiful images of the Chinese people's harmony with nature.

As a forest worker, Manek is impressed by the successes of China¡¯s massive wood-plantage and forestry.After generations of Chinese forestry workers¡¯ efforts, this former desert has turned into a thriving forest of more than 90,000 hectares. ¡±Manek said that he was responsible for the restoration of the forest ecosystem in the Czech Sumava Mountains and is aware of its hardships, so more admired China¡¯s enormous efforts to increase the forest area, but also represents a change in the model of thinking. ¡±He said that China firmly established and implemented the green water mountain is the gold mountain and is building a ¡°green long city¡±.

Manek specifically mentioned the wisdom of ecological civilization contained in the concept of "two mountains". He said that values such as respect for nature and harmonious coexistence between man and nature in China culture stem from the wisdom of China's ancient civilization, the people's long-term experience and their love for mountains, rivers and land. In many national parks, farmers and herdsmen serve as ecological rangers and ecological rangers, which is not only conducive to nature protection, but also promotes the income of local residents. Man and nature have formed a positive symbiotic relationship.
