New research finds that Enceladus may support life

According to a Reuters report on October 2, researchers re-examined the data obtained by NASA's Cassini spacecraft when it approached Saturn's moon Enceladus in 2008 and found more evidence that,Enceladus may support life, the relevant research report was published in the British journal Nature-Astronomy.

The researchers say new types of organic molecules have been discovered in the ice particles and gases sprinkled by Saturn, which can be involved in the process of forming more complex organic compounds in suitable environments, where organic compounds are a fundamental component of life.
