Israel says it is preparing to carry out work related to the release of detained people

On October 4, the Israeli Prime Minister’s Office issued a statement saying that after the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) responded to the “20-point plan” proposed by the United States, Israel was preparing to carry out the first phase of the plan on the release of all detainees.

The statement said that Israel will fully cooperate with Trump and his team to end the war in Gaza in accordance with Israel's proposed principles that are consistent with Trump's vision.

The main contents of the "20-point plan" include the release of each other's personnel detained by Hamas and Israel, the comprehensive resumption of humanitarian assistance to the Gaza Strip, the establishment of non-political temporary transitional governance institutions, and the deployment of temporary international stabilization forces in the Gaza Strip.

Trump announced after talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House on September 29 that Netanyahu had agreed to the "20-point plan" proposed by the United States.

After Hamas announced on Tuesday its agreement to release Israeli detainees, Trump called on Israel to immediately stop bombing Gaza.
