According to Japanese media reports, affected by this, some convenience stores in Japan have tight stocks of Asahi products or even run out of stock. Rosen Convenience Chain said it expects a shortage of Asahi products in the store soon and is preparing to launch alternative products. A clerk at a 7-Eleven convenience store in Tokyo said there was still Asahi beer in stock but was about to be sold out.

The group said it had cancelled a number of promotional events and delayed the launch of new products, and it is not clear when the system will return to normal operation. Some Japanese media that the group may have suffered a ransomware attack, but the group declined to comment.
