The Council of the European Union issued a press release on October 3 that decided to extend individual restrictive measures against some Russian-related persons for another year, until October 9, 2026.

The extension includes asset freezing, travel bans and a ban on providing funds or economic resources to individuals on the list.The EU will continue to closely monitor developments and may further adjust the relevant sanctions if necessary.
