Argentine scientists confirmed a giant dragon fossil

According to the news released by the Argentine National Council for Science and Technology Research, preliminary studies showed that the dinosaur fossils found in the country's Chubut province belonged to a large meat-eating dinosaur living in the White Age - a giant pirate dragon.

The National Council for Scientific and Technological Research said the research team discovered the fossil in the rocky layer of Lake Corvette, in the southern province of the country, and named it the Hawking Dragon Casali.

Researchers said the dinosaur was about 7 meters long and weighed about 1 ton. It was believed to be about 19 years old when it died. This was a carnivorous dinosaur that lived in the Cretaceous period. It had huge claws on its forelimbs and belonged to Megasraptor. The time of death is close to the time when the dinosaurs became extinct about 66 million years ago. Giant raptor was widely distributed in Asia, South America and Australia in the late Cretaceous.

The National Council for Scientific and Technological Research said that a front leg bone of crocodiles was found between the lower jaws of dinosaur fossils, indicating that ancient "relatives" of crocodiles may be one of their food sources.

It is understood that the dinosaur fossil was first discovered in 2019 and after several excavations, more complete samples were obtained, according to the researchers, the in-depth study of the fossil enhanced the understanding of giant dragon bones, evolution and ancient ecology.
