The Ukrainian Ministry of Energy noted that on October 3, the Russian military used missiles and drones to attack energy facilities in several states in the territory of Ukraine, focusing especially on gas transport infrastructure. Currently, relevant experts are working hard to restore the energy facilities to return to normal operation as soon as possible.

Ukraine's DTEK Energy Group also released a message on social media on October 3 that due to Russia's large-scale attack on Poltava Oblast, some natural gas production facilities in the region had ceased operations in the early morning of October 3.

At the same time, the Ukrainian state power grid company also that the Russian missile and drone attacks affected several parts of Ukraine with consumer power outages. According to data from the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, heating season preparations for energy infrastructure are being fully advanced across the country, including the implementation of facility repair operations, reserve equipment and emergency power supply, and a number of measures to strengthen the protection of critical facilities to meet the upcoming heating season needs.
