Poland signs preliminary agreement to join NATO oil pipeline system

On October 3, Poland's Deputy Defence Minister Chezary Tomczyk announced that Poland had officially signed a preliminary agreement to join NATO's oil pipeline system, aimed at connecting the national fuel infrastructure to NATO's oil pipeline system.

The project, with a total investment of approximately Zloty 20 billion (approximately RMB 39 billion), will build 300 kilometers of oil pipelines and associated oil storage facilities, extending from the border of Deborah to the strategic reserve base of the Polish National Railway (PERN) near Beethoven, while supporting the construction of fuel storage facilities serving NATO forces.
