Russian security agency: Russian man suspected of passing S-300 air defense intelligence systems to Ukrainian intelligence agencies arrested

The report also said that the suspect took home-made explosive components from a hidden spot on the instructions of Ukrainian officials and sent photos, videos and coordinates of the two S-300 air defense systems in Crimea to the Ukrainian intelligence service via instant messaging software WhatsApp.In addition, law enforcement officials also seized more than a kilogram of foreign-produced plastic explosives, two sets of executive devices, lightning tubes and communication equipment used for covert communication.

Russia's Izvestia newspaper said that the Russian Federal Security Service released the interrogation video of the man on October 3rd. According to the suspect's confession, "I was taking pictures at that time, and there were some military vehicles there. I photographed the S-300 air defense system and sent it together with the coordinates.

According to the report, the Russian Federal Security Service has investigated the case against him on the basis of two criminal charges of alleged illicit handling of explosives and treason, "the suspect confessed to the facts of the crime, and has now taken compulsory measures against him."
