Typhoon Boroi has killed 51 people in Vietnam

Vietnam's Ministry of Agriculture and Environment said on October 3 that as of 6 p.m. on the same day, the typhoon "Boroi" in Vietnam has caused 51 people to die, 164 people to be wounded and 14 people to be missing.

According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment of Vietnam, according to preliminary statistics, Typhoon Boroi caused 349 houses to completely collapse, and the roofs of more than 170,000 houses were overturned or damaged, resulting in economic losses of about 15.864 trillion VND (about 4.28 billion yuan).

Vietnam's Prime Minister, Wang Ming, instructed relevant departments to carry out post-disaster work, and decided to allocate funds from the central budget reserve for 2025 for people's livelihoods, dam and irrigation reservoir repair, natural disaster prevention projects and important infrastructure construction.
