On October 1st, local time, the 23rd batch of Chinese peacekeeping forces in Lebanon was held in the camp of Chinese peacekeeping forces in southern Lebanon. All 475 officers and men were awarded the United Nations "Medal of Peace".

Major General Abbaniara, Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), spoke highly of the outstanding performance of China peacekeeping forces. He said that China peacekeeping forces have performed well in their missions and brought security and hope to the people of southern Lebanon.

China's 23rd batch of peacekeeping forces to Lebanon have successfully completed 183 tasks assigned to UNRWA since the deployment in the mission area in mid-December 2024, and have always adhered to first-class standards and first-class speed, and have been praised by UNRWA's engineering department as "the highest construction standard".

On October 1, local time, the UN Interim Security Forces in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Security Forces) awarded the United Nations "Peace Medal" to all Chinese soldiers in the fifth batch of the Abu Dhabi and helicopter division.

Major General Afram, commander-in-chief of the United Arab Security Forces Mission, said that the Chinese peacekeeping helicopter division is an indispensable force in the mission zone and not only won the respect and trust of local people and colleagues from all countries, but also made an important contribution toining regional peace and stability.

Since the deployment of the fifth batch of China's Abiyai Peace and Helicopter Division to the mission zone in late December 2024, it has mainly been responsible for air patrol, medical post-delivery, passenger cargo transportation and logistical support.
