On the evening of October 2, local time, Iranian Defense Minister Nasirzad said at the end of his visit to Turkey that his trip focused on in-depth exchanges with Turkey on border security and the recent threat posed by Israel to the region, and exchanged views on the Syrian issue. He pointed out that the visit has achieved remarkable results.
When talking about concerns that may arise from the recent U.S. transfer of military equipment to the region, Nasirzad emphasized that regardless of whether the other side makes military deployments, the Iranian army must always remain ready to protect national security.
Nasirzad called on the people to remain calm and focus on developing economic and social progress, saying that if war is imposed on Iran, the Iranian military will firmly fulfill their duty to defend national security.
