Trump: Government could cut jobs if “stop” continues

On October 2, local time, U.S. President Trump said in an interview that if the government continues to fall into a "shutdown" state, layoffs and project cuts may occur.

Since the U.S. Senate vetoed the two-party allocation bill on September 30th, the U.S. federal government was once again “stop” for seven years on October 1, local time. U.S. Vice President Wallace warned on October 1 that if the federal government “stop” lasts longer, it could lead to cuts. White House spokesman Levitt said federal government cuts were “likely” to happen and “will happen soon.”
