Putin said Western nations were reluctant to give up hegemony and could not withstand the temptation of “absolute power,” but all Western attempts to give orders to other nations ended in failure.
Putin said Western countries are trying to drive Russia out or prevent it from entering the international system, but without Russia’s involvement, international balance will not exist.
Putin said that a conflict in Ukraine could have been avoided if NATO had not been close to the Russian border.Putin said the West did not sympathize with the Ukrainian people.
