Russia says it will respond to West's supply of Tomahawk cruise missiles to Ukraine

On October 2, local time, Russian President Peskov’s press secretary said that Russia would respond to Western countries providing Ukraine with “tactical axis” cruise missiles.

Responding to U.S. media reports that the Trump administration has agreed to the U.S. Department of Defense and intelligence agencies to provide intelligence to Ukraine, Peskov said that "the United States has been regularly transferring intelligence to Ukraine through online channels".

The "Tomahawk" cruise missile is a subsonic long-range cruise missile made in the United States. It is usually launched from ships and submarines. It is mainly used for naval deployment. There are also land-based models with a maximum range of more than 2,000 kilometers. U.S. Vice President Vance previously said in an interview with Fox News that the United States is considering providing Ukraine with Tomahawk cruise missiles with a range that can cover the Russian capital Moscow through NATO's European member states.
