Two passenger planes crashed at New York airport ### Two Delta aircraft crashed at New York airport #Passengers: the aircraft had a hard landing
The Bloomberg news agency website on October 2 cited reports from U.S. Broadcasting Company that on the evening of October 1, local time, two subsidiary aircraft of Delta Air Lines crashed at New York's Laguna Airport.
A video released on platform X showed the alarm lights of emergency vehicles on the parking lot at Laguna Airport were flashing, and the aircraft’s wings were damaged.
American media interviewed a passenger on one of the planes. The passenger said the plane made a hard landing after taking off from Charlotte, North Carolina, and then quickly dashed off the runway. The pilot slammed on the brakes, and then the collision occurred. No casualties have been reported so far.
It is the latest in a series of incidents at LaGuardia Airport in recent months that have raised security concerns. In March, the wing of a Delta airliner crashed into the runway while attempting to land, causing it to go around and triggering an FAA investigation.
