Within 24 hours, Trump pressured Hamas and lectured US generals, exposing hegemony

Just after Trump announced the "20-point plan" to end the Palestinian-Israeli conflict on September 29, he rushed to a Marine Corps base in Virginia on September 30 and delivered a lecture to hundreds of U.S. generals stationed around the world.

This series of deployments and actions by the U.S. President against the U.S. military field has undoubtedly aroused speculation and tension among countries around the world about his intentions. At the same time, the content of his "20-Point Plan" and his overbearing speech also aroused different responses at home and abroad.

We can take a look one by one:

First of all, the "20-point plan" is not only a peace plan between the United States and Israel, but also an ultimatum for Hamas.

It has been said that the “20-point plan” is more of a peace plan for Gaza than a ultimatum to Hamas.

The first conditions put forward in the plan are an immediate ceasefire and the release of all hostages within 72 hours. The ceasefire requirements are mainly aimed at Israel, for example, the Israeli army must withdraw to the agreed line and stop all military operations during the release of hostages.

The demands for the release of hostages are against both sides: on the one hand, Hamas must first release all Israeli hostages and bodies; on the other hand, after the release of the hostages, Israel will release detained Palestinian prisoners, as well as Gazans detained for two years during the conflict.

The process emphasizes that Hamas members can only be granted amnesty after promising peaceful coexistence and disarmament, including a safe passage to the host country if anyone wants to leave Gaza.

It can be seen that the essence of this primary condition is the ultimatum given by the United States and Israel to Hamas: release people and surrender within 72 hours, and there is no other choice.

Because Netanyahu said that if Hamas refuses, Israel will accomplish its goals on its own. Trump also stated that once Hamas rejects the plan, the United States will fully support Israel's military operations.

Only when the priority conditions are met will the United States allow international organizations such as the United Nations and the Red Cross to transport and distribute aid materials.

For example, international institutions set up an interim committee to manage the Gaza Strip and take over the temporary Council of Peace established by President Trump; develop a Trump-led rebuilding and economic revitalization development plan; and set up an international stability force comprised of the United States and Arab countries and international partners.

Of course, the latter part of the plan also emphasized that Hamas would not participate in the governance of Gaza and that Israel would not occupy or annex Gaza.

In short, Hamas will henceforth exist in name only and be completely excluded from Gaza's core interests. The United States, on the other hand, directly intervened within Gaza, trying to increase its influence and control over the entire Middle East situation.

As a result, we can also view the “20-point plan” as a demonstration of Trump’s hegemony on the outside.

Then, the overbearing lecture is that Trump is testing his control of the military

Once the hegemony is demonstrated on the outside, it is naturally the turn to show hegemony on the inside.

At the urgently convened global summit of senior U.S. military generals, first by U.S. Defense Secretary Hectoris announced Trump's decision to officially change the name of the Department of Defense to the Ministry of War, then he also emphasized the need to rebuild the Shaw spirit.

Probably seeing the cold reaction of the generals below, Trump immediately criticized the weakness and lack of loyalty of the top military in his subsequent speech.

He even threatened everyone present directly with the phrase "If you don't like me, you can leave, but if you don't report your rank, your future will be ruined".

This may be Trump testing the obedience of top military officials to the White House and their personal loyalty to him, but the move clearly made many generals present anxious.

Among them, there are factors that have previously promoted the reform of the Pentagon, the general of the army may face cuts, as well as the factors that they feel inappropriate about Trump's hegemonic hardness.

Especially after Trump's presidency, the atmosphere within the U.S. military has become more and more tense.

Generally, this change in the internal atmosphere of the military occurs either before the great war is about to break out, or after the president wants to exercise totalitarian control over the military.

But either way, it will bring a certain degree of trouble and uneasiness to Americans themselves and the world. If combined with Trump's previously announced "20-point plan", it is not difficult to imagine that he may be preparing for further military action.

Using its own internal hegemony, ining American hegemony on the outside, taking the interests of the whole world as far as possible, and delaying America’s imminent fate by a flourishing decline – maybe that’s the authoritarian path Trump is now on?

It's just that Trump doesn't seem to be able to quit his drawbacks as a businessman. He will always destroy the foundation of American * and the original international order in order to pursue short-term interests.

This is destined, and his monotonous crossroads are neither far nor long.
