Xinhua News Agency, Oslo, October 1 (Reporter Zhang Yuliang) Copenhagen News: Twenty-eight large European multinational enterprises issued a joint statement in Copenhagen on the 1st, calling on the European Union to introduce reform measures to enhance Europe's competitiveness. These large enterprises include Novo Nordisk, Siemens, Airbus, Saab, Danfoss, ThyssenKrupp, Carlsberg and Maersk, among others. In a joint statement called the Copenhagen Commitment, these companies called on the EU to reform existing regulatory measures, including simplifying management rules and reporting requirements for companies, reforming innovation and investment frameworks, improving infrastructure, achieving a fair green transition and strengthening safety management, etc. The companies pledged that if the regulatory and financial environment is improved, they will be prepared to invest more and increase their investment in Europe by an average of 50% by 2030. The statement was submitted by the Danish Federation of Industry to European Commission President von der Leyen, French President Macron, Polish Prime Minister Tusk and Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen during the informal meeting of EU leaders.
