Xinhua Agency, Sofia, September 30 (Reporter Lin Hao) Bulgarian National Assembly Speaker Kiselova said on September 29 that Bulgaria closely follows the progress of the two countries in jointly building the "Belt and Road" and is willing to actively participate in cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European countries.

On the same day, the Chinese Embassy in Bulgaria held a reception to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Kiserova and Vice-President Ganev, the Embassy of many countries in the Republic of China, as well as more than 500 people attended the reception, including foreign citizens, Chinese enterprises, international students.

Kiselova said that Bulgaria is willing to strengthen mutual visits and exchanges between the legislative bodies of the two countries, tap potential, enhance cooperation in economic, trade, investment, interconnection and other fields, and further promote people-to-people exchanges.

Dai Qingli, Chinese Ambassador to Bulgaria, said that China-Bulgaria cooperation in building the "the belt and road initiative" has achieved fruitful results in the past ten years, and China is willing to work with Bulgaria to seize opportunities, deepen cooperation and promote the stability and far-reaching development of China-Bulgaria relations.
