Xinhua Agency, Yaoundé, October 1 (Reporter Wang Ze) The unveiling ceremony of the office building of the Ministry of Public Works of Cameroon undertaken by a Chinese company was held in Yaoundé, the capital, on September 30. Cameroonian Prime Minister Ngute presided over the ceremony on behalf of the President, and the building was officially put into use.

In his speech, Ngut said that the new office building of the Ministry of Public Works is not only an administrative building, but also a symbol of modernization, functionality and efficiency, which will help improve the efficiency and quality of public administration in Cameroon. He expressed his gratitude to the Chinese companies undertaking the project for their professionalism and exquisite skills.

Huang Lianglue, deputy representative of the Cameroon Representative Office of PowerChina, said that this building is another achievement of China-Africa cooperation and will become a new landmark in the Central Administrative Region of Yaoundé. It is that the project of the office building of the Ministry of Public Engineering of Cameroon was undertaken by China Electricity Construction core international business platform China Hydroelectric Construction Group International Engineering Co., Ltd., occupying an area of 12,400 square meters, the total building area of 16,650 square meters, consisting of 4 office buildings, pump houses and electrical equipment houses.
