Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security McLaughlin said in a statement to CNN that ICE agents were "enveloped by a group of instigators and media officials" when arresting an immigrant from Peru, McClaughlin said she once again urged media and politicians to "stop inciting separatism and stop demonizing law enforcement."
