A chlorine gas leak in Colombia poisoned 37 people

On 30 September, local time, a chlorine gas leak in the city of Moscow, central province of Kundinama, resulted in 37 people being poisoned and over 400 residents were evacuated.

According to the health department in Queensland, the accident has been fully controlled and the poisoned have all been sent to medical care. Of them, six have been discharged from the hospital after initial treatment, three others are still being rescued, three are being treated in the emergency care room.

The local government said the area of the accident is still under continued monitoring and technical evaluation has been underway to identify the cause of the leak and prevent similar incidents from happening again.
