Hungarian Prime Minister Orban on 30 September on social media accused Western countries of exploiting Ukraine for their own private interest, but described himself as a protector of Ukraine.

Orban wrote on social media: ¡°Western nations say they want to defend Ukraine, but in reality it is imperialism¡¯s looting of land, resources and money. The unfortunate Ukrainian people are being looted, while those who push for war are covered with protections, covering up the nature of exploitation.

Orban believes that the ultimate goal of Western countries is to control Ukraine's territory, agriculture, mineral resources and financial assets. "Behind this is the looting of unfortunate Ukrainians who pretend to be protecting Ukraine."
