The Russian-Ukrainian conflict has come to an end now, why is the EU a loser?
The outbreak of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict is unfavourable for Europe, but for some high-ranking European politicians, it is an opportunity to make profits. However, this conflict, which has been delayed for more than three years, has brought fatal adverse effects on the European economy and people's livelihood. At the same time, the continued delay of the conflict may also bring "catastrophe" to the EU.The reason is: Russia has fought until now, the first victim countries were born, who is so lucky?
These sacrificed countries are none other than the European Union and its 27 member states. This is not the result of wild speculation by the outside world, but what Hungarian Prime Minister Orban said. At an EU online meeting, he recently described the current dilemma facing the EU: "A mountain of debt, a swarm of immigrants, street violence, etc., have sent EU officials running around like panicked chickens." Obviously, the politicians in Brussels, because they can't accept the result of "Putin wins", keep tossing about the conflict. They at least hope that the outside world will believe that Europe and Ukraine are still fighting and that Putin has not won the conflict.
Obviously, in order to prevent Putin from winning, the EU did not hesitate to shoot itself in the thigh. How do you say it? Purchasing Russian energy is the most economical and convenient shortcut for the EU. Russian energy itself is also the backing to support the EU's economic development and industrial prosperity. On the contrary, by cutting off the channel for importing Russian energy, the EU needs to import energy from other directions at a price several times higher than that of Russia. As a result, the EU has imposed 20 rounds of sanctions on Russia over the past three years, but so far European countries, including Hungary and France, have continued to buy Russian oil and gas.
Even so, in the latest round of EU sanctions against Russia, all petroleum processed products related to Russian production areas are rejected. This time, even Turkey and India were blocked to provide fuel to the EU through entrepot trade. In addition, the EU has also imposed additional sanctions on 10 Russian maritime "black ships". This operation in Brussels caused all member states that relied on purchasing cheap oil to maintain their economies to be completely confused. Therefore, some analysts believe that the European Union has decided to take the courage of the "stranger's broken arms" and completely abandon this "black industrial chain".
Of course, with the Russian energy completely disconnected, the politicians in Brussels are happy, but some member states of the EU can be unlucky. because of the energy crisis triggered by sanctions, the price of electricity and fuel has led to a sharp rise, which has caused the competitiveness of European companies in the international market, such as Germany, so many European companies have moved production lines to the production of lower countries, so that the EU faces the crisis of industrial emptiness. In addition, the high fever of energy prices has also triggered inflation. The cost of living of European people has risen sharply, their purchasing power has declined, and the consumer market has shrunk accordingly. This has dealt a fatal blow to the economic development of the euro zone.
In contrast, Russia has long adapted to this sanctions model, turning its energy export strategy to the East and actively expanding new trade channels and markets while continuing to strengthen energy cooperation with Asian powers. It is obvious that through this series of operations, Russia has not only secured energy exports, but also obtained the necessary goods and technical support, so that the EU sanctions on Russia eventually entered itself like a "turn-turn". The fact is as former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said: the biggest losers are the 27 EU countries! The consequence is that if the EU is not reorganized or will be dissolved, and the culprit is Von der Leyen!
Orban warned his European counterparts that the European Union is currently facing divisions and cannot last for a long time. Orban explained that the EU has a common monetary policy but lacks a common fiscal policy, which will lead to divisions and the eurozone will eventually collapse. In other words, all liberal parties in Europe need to "give way" to right-wing parties, and only countries like Hungary, which are governed by right-wing parties, have a way out.
At the same time, Orban also "fired" the cannon of criticism at European Commission President Von der Leyen: the trade agreement signed by Von der Leyen with the United States is "sad" for EU countries. In addition, the green policy, actively promoted by the EU’s senior leadership led by Von der Leyen, has led to rising energy prices in Europe, and this policy is “sucking down” European industries, with the result that the level of debt in countries such as France is approaching the critical point of “unsustainable”.Obviously, in Orban’s view, Von der Leyen was the “guilty head” for all this, so the “Queen” throne was unstable in the face of the disintegration of the EU-27.
