On September 30, European Commission President Von der Leyen announced that the European Union would pay Ukraine 2 billion euros for the production of drones.

Von der Leyen said: "If we continue to believe that Ukraine is Europe's first line of defense, we must increase military assistance to Ukraine. Because of this, the EU and Ukraine have clearly reached an agreement and will now invest a total of 2 billion euros in drones. This will enable Ukraine to expand its scale and make full use of its production capacity. Of course, this will also benefit the EU." (Headquarters reporter Wang Jinyan)
