Breaking-News >> WorldNews The U.S. Navy plans to fly again in mid-October.
The US space exploration technology company announced on September 29 that it plans to conduct the 11th test flight of its new-generation heavy-duty carrier rocket "Starcraft" on October 13. The company said the main objectives of the test flight included collecting data for the development of the next generation of "superheavy" propellers, carrying out pressure tests on the spacecraft's insulation system, and experimenting and validating for the future return of the spacecraft to the launch site. According to the report, the propeller used for the test flight was used in the eighth test flight, and the main test goal was to verify the new engine landing combustion mode adopted by the next generation of "super heavy" propellers. As planned, the spacecraft will carry out several missions in space, including deploying eight "StarChain" simulation satellites and attempting to re-pump a "Big Bird" engine in orbit. The mission team intends to dismantle a part of the spacecraft's insulation wave to focus on testing the heat resistance of specific regions in the process of re-entering the Earth's atmosphere. In addition, the spacecraft will simulate future flight paths back to the launch site and complete dynamic motion and subsonic-guided algorithm tests in the final phase of the trial to eventually sink into the Indian Ocean. On August 26, the "Starship" completed its 10th test flight, and the first and second stages of the rocket both splashed down in the predetermined sea area. The "Starcraft" rocket is about 120 meters long, about 9 meters in diameter, consisting of two parts, the first level is about 70 meters long "super heavy" propeller, the second level is the "Starcraft" spacecraft, both levels can be reused.
