Japan's well-known brewing company, the Korean Group, was recently attacked by hackers, causing a network failure, affecting the company's logistics transportation and customer service business in Japan.

On September 29, BBC quoted a statement from the North Korean group as saying that the company had suspended its ordering and shipping operations in Japan, as well as its customer service operations, but that European operations were not affected and that "no confirmation has been made of the existence of customer personal information or data breaches."

The group has apologized to customers and business partners, saying it is investigating the cause and working to resume normal operations, but when it will resume is unknown.

Asahi Group listed cyber attacks as one of its main risks in the short to medium term in a report last year. The Group assessed at the time that such attacks could lead to business disruption, cash flow problems and damage to the brand.

Recently, several well-known companies have suffered cyberattacks, including Harold and Martha, which have caused normal business stagnation.
