On the evening of September 26, South Korea's National Information Resource Administration, based in the central city of Takeda, caused a fire due to a battery explosion, causing 647 online government services to be interrupted and network systems to be unavailable. According to the South Korean Ministry of Administrative Security, the agencies affected by the fire include the South Korean Customs, the South Korean National Police Department and the National Fire Department. As of the morning of 29th, only 46 services were restored to normal.
