A source from the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) said on the evening of September 29 that the resistance group had received a "20-point plan" proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the conflict in Gaza by the mediator Qatar and Egypt.

The source said that Qatar's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammed and the Director of the Egyptian Intelligence General's Office, Rashad, met with a Hamas negotiating delegation in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on the same day, and handed the "20-point plan" to the United States.

Trump met with Netanyahu earlier that day in the White House and announced that Netanyahu agreed to the "20-point plan."The plan included the release of all detainees within 72 hours after Hamas publicly announced the acceptance of the ceasefire agreement; the full resumption of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip; the gradual withdrawal of Israeli troops from the Gaza Strip; the establishment of a non-political transitional governance body composed of Palestinians and international experts, with Hamas and other factions not involved in the post-war governance of the Gaza Strip; the de-militarization of the Gaza Strip, and the deployment of the "International Stability Forces".

When the United States released this latest ceasefire plan, Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip did not stop.

The health department of the Gaza Strip issued a statement saying that in the past 24 hours, Israeli operations in the Gaza Strip resulted in 50 deaths and 184 injuries. The Palestinian News Agency reported that on the evening of 29th, a 12-year-old Gaza child was shot and killed by Israeli troops in Rafah, a city in the southern Gaza Strip. Since the outbreak of this round of Palestinian-Israeli conflict, Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip have resulted in a total of 66,050 deaths and 168,346 injuries.
