Hamas official: Trump's Gaza peace plan has not been received yet

On September 29, local time, a reporter from the main station learned that senior Hamas official Mahmoud Mardavi said,U.S. President Trump’s Gaza peace plan has not yet reached Hamas or any Palestinian political party., Hamas has not seen the plan either. Mardavi said that the terms of the plan are close to the Israeli vision.

Following a bilateral meeting between US President Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu on Friday, the two sides held a press conference. Trump said Netanyahu had accepted his proposal for peace in Gaza and was very close to an agreement to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip. Trump also said he believed Hamas would give a positive response. If Hamas rejected the agreement, he would fully support Israel’s destruction of Hamas.

On the 29th, the White House announced a peace plan for the Gaza Strip, which proposed that Israel and Hamas end the conflict and return all living and dead hostages within 72 hours after Israel publicly accepted the agreement. According to the plan, "the war will end immediately" if both sides agree to the proposal. Israeli forces will withdraw to the agreed route in preparation for the release of the hostages. Once all hostages are released, Israel will release 250 Palestinians sentenced to life in prison and 1,700 Gazans detained since the conflict began on October 7, 2023.
