As the National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holidays are approaching, the Embassy in Niger reminds Chinese citizens in Niger to be alert to various security risks and ensure personal and property safety:

First, pay attention to the security situation.The recent security situation is severe, terrorist attacks and abductions are numerous, and foreign citizens, including my citizens, will be the target. Citizens in Nigeria should not travel to high-risk areas, and people in high-risk areas should be evacuated as soon as possible. Carefully pay attention and attach great importance to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Security Alerts and Embassy Emergency Security Alerts.

2. Improve safety awareness. Take care of personal belongings in people gathering places, keep valuables properly, strengthen security precautions, and do not carry a large amount of cash with you. Inform your relatives and friends of your passport, flight, telephone number, itinerary and address in advance, and keep in touch with them frequently. Enterprises should carry out safety production inspection, do a good job in self-examination and rectification of safety production risk loopholes in time, effectively eliminate all kinds of hidden dangers of safety production risks, and prevent any safety production accidents.

Third, strengthen the prevention of malaria. malaria is one of the common diseases, please actively take measures to prevent mosquitoes, improve disease protection awareness, spray mosquitoes when out, wear long sleeves. Keep the environment clean, pay attention to daily exercise. If the whole body is cold, fever, sweat, fatigue, muscle joint pain, diarrhea and other physical discomfort symptoms, should seek medical attention in a timely manner, do not take medication or wait for "self-healing" and delay the treatment time.

4, beware of telecom fraud. Do not download and use unofficial software, especially strange links or two-dimensional code, so as not to cause personal information leakage and property loss. Do not trust any personal financial information such as bank card, phone calls and emails requesting transfer or money transfer. Do not disclose your name, address, family status, bank account and other information to strangers on the phone. If unfortunately you are scammed, please report it to the local police and domestic public security agencies in a timely manner.

Five, maintain civilized behavior. Abide by local laws and regulations, and do not engage in affairs inconsistent with your own certificates. Respect local customs and habits, pay attention to words and deeds, take good care of public facilities, maintain environmental sanitation, abandon bad habits, do not go to unsafe and unhealthy entertainment places, unite and help each other, show a good image of Chinese citizens, and travel healthily, safely and civilized.
