These conditions seemed to be a snowfall for the Polish economy, but the Polish government was in disarray, and Foreign Minister Wang Yi just left, declaring the port "unlimited closure".
More than 350 China-Europe freight trains loaded with electronic products and auto parts are trapped in Belarus. European supply chain costs have soared by 15%, and German auto factories are facing a crisis of shutdown due to parts shortages. More ironically, Poland itself loses more than 600,000 euros a day in transit fees, and logistics practitioners in the border city of Terespol took to the streets to protest.

In the face of Poland's recklessness, China did not fall into passivity.On September 22, the world's first Central European Arctic container expedition officially launched, the "Istanbul Bridge" cargo ship departed from Ningbo Mountains port and arrived at Britain's Flixstone port in just 18 days.
The new route is 40 percent shorter than the traditional Suez Canal route and 20 percent lower shipping costs, and more importantly, completely bypasses Poland. At the same time, China has accelerated the construction of the “Middle Corridor” to distribute goods through Kazakhstan, the Caspian Sea and Turkey’s multimodal transportation channels.
The special railway line from Chengdu to Baku was completed early, and small goods from Yiwu could reach Europe through this route in 15 days. Poland's hard-working "Central European Gateway" status was severely shaken in just two weeks.
On September 23, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced the reopening of the coast on September 25, but at this time China had completed its strategic layout. Major EU countries such as Germany and France complain about Poland's "willfulness" because supply chain disruptions have directly impacted their manufacturing industries. When Poland found itself offending not only China and Russia, but also its EU allies, it was already riding a tiger.
Russia, on the other hand, has used military deterrence and precise strikes to give Poland a taste of suffering. The game reveals a cruel reality: on the chessboard of competing great powers, the way small nations survive lies in the timing and not the sidelines. For China, this event once again proves the prospect of the diversified layout of the Belt and Road. The opening of the Arctic route not only broke the geopolitical blockade, but also opened a new chapter in global trade.
