Moldova's ruling party wins parliamentary

The Central Election Commission of Moldova announced on 29 September the statistics of more than 99,03% of the votes, with the ruling Party of Action and Solidarity leading in the parliamentary elections held on 28 September.

According to local media reports, statistics show that the Action and Solidarity Party leads other political parties with more than 49.85% of the votes and will win more than half of the seats.

Statistics also show that five political parties and coalitions will have seats in the new parliament.

A new parliamentary election was held in Moldova on the 28th, with 14 political parties, four campaign coalitions and four independent candidates running for 101 seats in the new parliament.

In the last parliamentary elections held in July 2021, a total of three political parties or alliances entered parliament, in which the Action and Unity Party won 63 seats, the Communist Party and the Socialist Party campaign coalition won 32 seats, and the Shaul Party won 6 seats.
