UN confirms Security Council sanctions against Iran resumed

On September 28, local time, the Office of the Spokesperson of the UN Secretary-General confirmed that the UN Secretary-General, in accordance with the relevant provisions of Security Council Resolution 2231,Six previously adopted sanctions resolutions on Iran were re-enacted at 8 p.m. on September 27.These resolutions include Resolutions 1696, 1737, 1747, 1803, 1835 and 1929.
