China delivers first shipment of flood rescue materials to Pakistan

According to the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan, on September 28th, local time, the first batch of emergency materials for flood relief provided by the Chinese government to Pakistan arrived in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

On the same day, the first flood rescue emergency supplies provided by the Chinese government to Pakistan were shipped from Zhengzhou New Zhen International Airport. The first rescue supplies mainly consisted of tents, carpets, etc. Two 20 aircraft were shipped by the Chinese Air Force to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.

Since June this year, Pakistan has suffered severe floods, causing significant casualties and property losses.China has first handed out its help and provided $2 million in emergency aid to Pakistan.

In order to help Pakistan rebuild after the disaster, the Chinese government has decided to provide additional flood rescue emergency materials worth 100 million yuan, and the remaining batches of disaster rescue materials are packing up and will be shipped in the near future.
