Epstein's invitation to Musk documents exposed, Musk responded that he had refused

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, September 28th-American entrepreneur elon musk recently posted on social media, admitting that the late wealthy American businessman Jeffrey Epstein did invite him to a private island, but he refused the invitation.

Musk has repeatedly asked the Trump administration to disclose documents related to Epstein's case.U.S. Congressional Democrats released the latest batch of documents obtained from Epstein's heritage management, the British Sky News channel on the 27th, titled "The names of Elon Musk and Prince Andrew appeared in the latest released Epstein archives."

Musk posted on social media accusing the Sky News channel’s headline of misleading the audience, “shamefully appearing,” and anyone who promotes such false narratives should be utterly despised.

“Epstein tried to let me go to his island, but I refused!” the post wrote.

According to British Sky News, a document that appears to be Epstein's daily itinerary reads: "Reminder: Elon Musk will arrive on the island on December 6 (2014) (will this happen again?)" The document does not state whether Musk finally visited.

Epstein had close contacts with a large number of American political and business celebrities. After being arrested on suspicion of sexual crimes, he died in prison in August 2019 and was convicted of "suicide". During Trump's presidential campaign in 2024, he promised to release documents related to the Epstein case after taking office. However, the first batch of documents released at the end of February this year did not contain explosive new information.

The U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Bureau of Investigation issued a memo on July 7th, finding that there was no credible evidence that Epstein had a "client list" used to blackmail famous people, and there was no evidence that Epstein died of murder, and said that it would not release more documents related to the Epstein case in the future. This statement caused an uproar in American public opinion. The Department of Justice subsequently agreed to provide documents related to the Epstein case to the House of Representatives Oversight Committee. (Chen Lixi)
