According to British media, this was the tragic moment when the bridegroom suddenly fell dead while dancing in the bride’s arms. The heart-breaking scene was recorded by the video when the young couple was enjoying the day that should have been the happiest of their lives.
The moment before the disaster, Ashraf Abu Khakam danced with the bride’s hand. Just before he fell, he was rolling a sidebar, and his bride was holding the matching stick. The sidebar is a traditional dancing tool from Egyptian folk legends, often performed on special occasions such as weddings.
When the couple was gathering together with friends, he suddenly fell on the ground. The video showed him lying on his back and guests rushing around to help. The wedding scene fell into chaos, and music and laughter were replaced by screams. Unfortunately, Ashraf failed to be rescued. Doctors later confirmed that he died of a heart attack.
The news of Ashraf’s death spread rapidly through social media, and people expressed their mourning. Friends described him as “living” and “excited about the future”. The mourning people remembered that his engagement was still celebrated the day before. One wrote: “May God have mercy on him and give him a vast heaven.” The other said: “His life cannot be delayed or delayed for his family and wife for a moment; with sincere mourning,” the third said: “I am concerned about this bride, the poor man, and the arguments that follow. May God give her patience.”
Prior to Ashraf’s shocking death, a 26-year-old Bosnian nurse also died after falling into a coma at her wedding. Adna Rovaniemi and nurse Adna Rovaniemi-Omelbegović felt uncomfortable at the wedding party on September 13. According to Bosnian media reports, only hours after the wedding, Adna’s physical discomfort was urgently taken to the hospital. During treatment, she fell into a coma.
Two days later she died unfortunately. The popular Red Hat also owns a salon in Sarajevo. Her death caused deep mourning among friends, family and fans. One said: “Yesterday you were still among us, today we send you a trip. Rest, dear Adna.” Another added: “It is unfair to end young people’s lives so prematurely.”
