China sends two ships-20 to Pakistan to deliver first batch of flood relief supplies

Today, the first batch of emergency flood relief supplies provided by the Chinese government to Pakistan departed from Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport.

The first batch of relief supplies mainly included tents, blankets, etc., which were transported to Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan, by two Y-20 aircraft of the Chinese Air Force.

Since June this year, Pakistan has suffered severe floods, causing significant casualties and property losses.China has first handed out its help and provided $2 million in emergency aid to Pakistan.

In order to help Pakistan rebuild after the disaster, the Chinese government has decided to provide additional flood rescue emergency materials worth 100 million yuan, and the remaining batches of disaster rescue materials are fast-paced and will be shipped in the near future.
