On April 6, 1904 (February 21, 1904), Sun Yat-sen was imprisoned in San Francisco. Sun Yat-sen was imprisoned on April 6, 1904, when Sun Yat-sen arrived on a cruise to San Francisco by the "Golley" cruise, and the British Immigration Bureau officials had problems with Sun Yat-sen's passport due to not allowing Sun Yat-sen to land, and the next day Sun Yat-sen was transferred to the Immigration Bureau to the Sun Yat-sen's detention site.
