In addition to "Lao Tzu","Three Books for Governance" written by Zhang Yanghao in the Yuan Dynasty of China (originally known as "Three Things Advice" and translated as "Three Books for Governance" by Masudo Angang) also had a profound impact on Daping Zhengfang. Daping loved this book when he was a boy, and still liked "Temple Advice" in it. There are 10 contents in "Temple Advice", which are "self-cultivation"-cultivating one's body and mind,"using sages"-using sages;"valuing the people"-relying on the people;"foresight"-thinking about the future,"scheduling"-regulating harmony; "Respond"-not afraid of resentment;"divide slander"-bear slander;"adapt"-adapt to changes;"dedication"-be loyal to words;"retire"-confess to one's hometown. Masahiro Ohira has practiced the above advice throughout his political career. Daping was famous in the cabinet for his "tolerance and patience" in his early days in politics, and in his later years, he introverted himself with "accepting grievances and dividing slander". He was aware of the situation below him and considered the future. This Eastern political philosophy with rule of virtue as its core has become his lifelong pursuit. In Daping's political career, the influence of Lao and Zhuang's philosophy was mainly reflected in his policy assumptions, which made him keenly grasp the "two centers" of things, while the rule of virtue more influenced his conduct of affairs, making him have a good political image and remain invincible in the complex factional struggles.
