On this day, 243 years ago, on April 6, 1782 (February 24, 1782 in the lunar calendar), Thai national hero Zheng Xin was killed. Zheng Xin was adopted as his adopted son by Finance Minister Poyejieji after the death of his father Zheng Yong. He entered the court at the age of 13 and first served as a bodyguard and later rose to the rank of Marquis. When the Burmese army invaded Siam and captured the capital of the Ayutthong Dynasty. After the king died, Zheng Xin held high the flag of righteousness. With the help of overseas Chinese and Thai people, after arduous battles, he finally drove out the Burmese army and established the third generation of Thailand's dynasty., and was proclaimed the Great Thonburi. Zheng Xin (1734 - 1782), also known as Zheng Zhao, was born in Ayutthaya City, Thailand. He was a Chinese who founded the Thonburi Dynasty in Thailand. Thailand's name is Thaksin. On the bank of the Chao Phraya River across Bangkok, Thailand, there is the famous Zheng Wang Temple (Liming Temple). The stupa in the temple is towering into the clouds and is resplendent. Not far from it stands a memorial statue of King Zheng in Thonburi. King Zheng is Zheng Xin, a famous patriotic hero in Thai history and the founder of the Thonburi Dynasty. Zheng Xin's hometown father, Zheng Yong, was born in Huafu Village, Zhongwai Pudu (now Shanghua Town), Chenghai County, China (now Chenghai District, Shan Tou City, Guangdong Province). During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, he crossed south to Siam and lived in Ayuthaya City (called Dacheng in Chinese). She married a Siamese woman and gave birth to Zheng Xin. Soon after Zheng Yong died, Zheng Xin was adopted as a minister of the State of Siam and received traditional Thai education. After growing up, he went into politics and lived in the prefect of Kambi Prefecture. He was knighted as Pyea, which was called Pyea Dasin by Siam people. In 1763, the Burmese army invaded Siam, and Zheng Xin led his troops to defend Siam. In April 1767, the Burmese army captured Siam and the Dacheng Dynasty fell. Based in the southeastern coastal area, Zheng Xin organized the anti-Burmese army, restored the city, and moved the capital of Thon Buri. He was proclaimed king on December 28 of that year, and was known as the Thonburi Dynasty in history. Later, the separatist forces in various places were eliminated, the whole country of Siam was unified in 1770, and military expansions were carried out in Cambodia many times. He also sent envoys to Beijing to enter the Qing court. On April 6, 1782, Zheng Xin was killed by his subordinates during an internal dispute (palace coup). Zheng Xin was killed by his subordinates, ending his glorious and short life and died at the age of 48. General Chokri, who led an army back to Beijing from the front line in Cambodia, took power and established the Bangkok Dynasty. The Thai government stipulates that December 28 is the King Zheng Day every year. The Chenghai County People's Government of Thailand's Chinese Emperor Zheng Xin built Zheng Xin's cenotary tomb in Huafu Village, Shanghua Town in 1985.
